We have keys!!!

Here is the house. As you can see, we have a lot of work to do and we are starting this Saturday. I am way excited!!!

There are three other bedrooms and a laundry room. We think that we know how we are going to re-do the kitchen and hopefully we will get it all done soon. I can't believe we finally have a house. Hurray!

Weekend Pics

It was Grace's farewell on Sunday. We had a big day. Grace leaves this Wednesday for the MTC!!!! We are going to miss her. Enjoy the pics.

My brother Adam and his cute wife Lori and their adorable daughter Chelsea came to enjoy the day. We had fun together.

We couldn't figure out why there was a river of lemonade on the patio yesterday until I found Graham doing this. . .

WE HAVE HOUSE!!!!

We are going to close on our house on Mon. or Tues. next week. Yeahhhhhhh. Then all we have to do is gut the whole thing, re-due it and then we can move in.

We just found out yesterday that the loan was going to go through. All last week and this week the underwriters were giving us a hard time with the loan for 2 big reasons 1- debt to income value and 2- mortgage shock
1-We have absolutely no debt. All we will have is the house. So we got that all fixed.
2-Now this one wasn't as easy. They said that our house payment in Utah vs our house payment in California went up over 200% and they call that mortgage shock. Well duh. Of coarse it did. We moved to California from Utah. They just got over that yesterday and finally approved our loan so yeahhh we have house :)

The other exciting thing is that Graham went poop on the potty. I am so amped to have him potty trained by the time he is 2. It also helps to have Asher teaching him these things.

I can't believe that David Archuleta got kicked off of American Idol

Utahn's have one major advantage that Californian's don't. They get to watch American Idol 2 hours before we do. My mother called me yesterday just as I was gearing up to watch American Idol. She began telling me how mad she was at the American Idol show and that she was never going to watch it again, and that she was going to write the producers a letter because she was so mad at who got kicked off the show last night. So after all her gripping I had to know who got kicked off. She sighed and said, " David Archuleta". I was in shock. So I told the family here what my mother had told me and they decided to not watch the show. I had to watch it any ways. Close to the end I realized that my mother had told me a lie and he was not getting kicked off. She tricked me. I was so mad and happy at the same time. I didn't want David to get kicked off. So after my mom was funny and tricked me I had to let everybody else in on the trick and they were all laughing because my mom got us good. Nice one mom!!!

The Heckler

We finally made it to the beach today. It was kind of cold and windy at the beach but Ventura has a beach named Sea Ward and there is a huge boat with a zip line on it and a play ground and this amazing beach area to play in the water. After we were done we ran to the car to warm up. Asher was covered in sand so I was stripping him down to wash him off, change his clothes and put him in the car. All of a sudden I heard this man yelling at me. I was like, "is he talking to me" Grace said "I don't know" So we listened to him and he was yelling, "Would you want somebody to do that to you?" "That little boy should slap you in the face" . . . . I guess he was mad that I stripped Asher and washed him off. The heckler went on and on. We decided that he was on drugs and if we would have crossed the street Grace would have sprayed him with her pepper spray. We just ignored him and he went away. What a weirdo. Besides the heckler we had fun. Our friends LeAnne and Jude and Henry went with us.

We had a fun sunny warm California day !!!!!

We had a relaxed sunny warm day today. I love the weather here. I still can't get over how nice it is year round. But of coarse you have to pay out of your you know what to live here :)



We were playing hide and seek and this is where I found the two boys. Yes Asher is in all of his nakedness glory :)




These tub crayons are great. They cleaned up so fast. They boys had lots of fun coloring things that they thought were off limits :)



It was like 85 degrees today and we were going to go to the beach, but by the time we were going to go, I was sooooo tired. So we pulled out the slip n' slide. We had fun.

Reality Check

Conference weekend was so great. Well except for the fact that everyone here was sick, but I love to listen to conference. I felt so great. Then, I was listening to the radio and I heard an add that went like this:
"I'm so happy" says one girl
"Yeah, why is that" Said the other girl
"I'm in a new relationship. . I've never been so happy"
Apparently it was an add for a website that is specifically for people already involved in a relationship but need to got out and cheat. So they go to this website and find others already involved, hook up and wallah. Can you believe that? There is a website to help people commit adultery and it's cool? They also have a billboard in L.A. that say "Life is short, Have an affair" Ok I knew that it would be different here in Ca vs Ut but come on. . how wicked will the world get before Heavenly Father ends it all? Is it just me? Or is this crazy?

10 Years ago. . . . I was 20 and I was contemplating going on a mission or not. I was at BYU probably studying Nutrition or Sports Nutrition (I had like 30 majors) and I lived with the coolest roomies. Nicki Robinson Fuentes, Summer Mull, and Kendra...I forgot her last name. We used to light up Nicki's herbs because they smelled like pot. :)

5 things on my To Do list today:
1-Buy a new bra - I am still wearing my nursing bra's and we stopped about a month ago.
2-Go to the Social Security office and see why my bank told me that my Social Security number was being used by someone else. Yeah, can you believe it. But it was nothing just a dumb scare
3-Send in Escrow papers for our house - nope- didn't get to this one
4-Get through the day - Graham is sick, and yesterday he got two shots, and he has his last 2 teeth coming in. Oh what a cranky crank he was today
5-Take Asher to play group and get my play group ready for tomorrow

If I was a billionaire. .
Well to tell you the truth, I am very sour right now about people who used to be cool, then got rich, and are butt holes now. So I don't even want any extra money than what it takes to be comfortable and go to Disneyland whenever I want. So there.

1-I don't wash my bed sheets as much as I should.
2-I love to eat sugar and pizza especially on days like today.
3-I love watching HGTV and it has become more like an impulse for me. I need to play more with my kids.
