Here We Go!!

We are leaving tomorrow for Utah!! I am packing a lot of warm clothes. I didn't do a Christmas card this year because. . well. . . I just am not very organized right now. So I am saying to you all that I love Merry Christmas. We will be back in a little over a week. Enjoy the wonderful season. If you want to say Hi as we pass through Ut we will be at Chris and Camies Sainsburys house in S.F. the 27th around 4pm. Other than that I haven't heard from others in SLC. Christmas!!!

Today we celebrated an early Christmas as a family because we will be in Utah with my parents on Christmas and wanted to have our own little family thing:) Well, it was a blast. Asher and Graham are the coolest I have decided. We opened presents and had yummy food. I have to say that the best part of the day was when we watched Joy to the World.

We have been trying really hard to teach Asher and Graham about Jesus and explain that we celebrate Christmas because of his birth and life. I feel the "Christmas" spirit so much while teaching them these things. Then when we watched Joy to the World it all came together and Asher said, " Mom, I love Jesus." It melted my heart. Then the movie came to the part where Mary had baby Jesus in the stable and had no bed and Asher said, " Mom, baby Jesus can come to my house and sleep in my bed." again he melted my heart.

I am grateful for this season to remind us of our Savior. I too love him so much and feel so grateful for his birth and life. I know he loves us! I know he will come again to rule on this earth and I look forward to that day. I hope to be worthy to live with him and our Heavenly Father again one day. To all of those people who are making us be politically correct by saying happy holidays. . I say to you. . MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

The other night we dresses up in our warm beanies to go see a house around the corner that has the best Christmas decorations ever.

You can kind of see the train in the pic. Asher and Graham loved to see all the lights and hear the music. At one point Graham started dancing and drew a crowd:0)


The other day Dos Vientos community did this cool thing. They got lots of huge blocks of ice and then put them threw some sort of shredder and made snow for the kids to play in. It was like 80 degrees and we were playing in snow. It was so funny. I had to laugh because most of those people were like, "This is just like real snow" Not


Then after we played in the snow we went down to the beach and played in the water. It was a fun day;) I love the warm sunny days here;)

40. How did you get your worse scar? I was running up in the mountains and I fell and slid on a bunch of raiser sharp rocks and tore up my whole elbow. I still had to finish the run and run 12 miles with blood dripping everywhere:( It was crazy
41. What is your favorite smell? Laundry, clean kids, cookies in the oven

Oh Christmas tree oh Christmas tree, you have 244 pictures of me

Besides having a great Thanksgiving, we did my favorite thing ever. We put up our tree. This year I decided to take a different approach on decorating the tree. We printed 244 pics of our family during this last year, which included all major events and anything I wanted to remember. And this is what it looks like. . .

We love looking at it and laughing about all the stuff we did this year. The other great thing I love about it is that it is totally kid proof. They can't break any of it!

Ashers new Projects!

Asher has been doing this thing lately where he strategically places all his toys and clothes and anything he can get his hands on in a nice little formation. I have been finding these little "gifts" as he calls them, all over the house. Crazy Boy!
