A must read!

This letter was sent to our stake director over Prop 8 from leaders of other faiths. It made me tear up because I am so happy to see people in this world who still stand for truth and see the adversary for what he is. I hope the day that we stand alone will never come (even though we know it will)

Dear Captain Harper,
The Pastors and leaders who have signed this letter have watched the No on Prop 8 video which was released yesterday featuring LDS missionaries in the midst of a home invasion robbery scenario. We want you to know that we were all appalled at the unfair representation of members of your faith community. We regret that all your hard work and the work of others from your church have led to such overt persecution. It seems that the enemies of the family will stop at nothing to discredit pro-marriage and family advocates. We stand with you in your freedom to speak your convictions and your commitment to do so. We all greatly appreciate your sacrificial efforts and the efforts of our local LDS churches in the passage Prop 8. As folks from our churches stood shoulder to shoulder on the street corners of our city, both friendship and great respect grew for one another. As the days seem to grow darker for marriage and the family, we are glad to share this challenge with fearless family-warriors like you. Once again, thank you for all you have done in sacrificial service to marriage and the family. That is awesome. See what I said before? All of this is just going to backfire on them. They really thought that one through now didn't they?

Thanks for posting these great letters! I'm sure this will be a continual fight for a long time. Are many church building being vandalized there? There have been quite a few in SLC this past week. Stupid, intollerant people :) Oh and I want to throw more than just rocks at Satan! :) How about darts or something with a sharp tip? haha

That is so great. I also liked the information from your Stake Pres. I mean, Mormons are an easy target, but we are not the only ones out there fighting for the family. We are just a squeaky wheel. :)

IT is nice to know that we aren't the only ones out there that feel that way about prop8. That was a nice letter.
I will have to check out the site on the signs of the times..it is going to make me nervous or excited?
