Family Yellow Stone Trip last summer

I am finally getting to this post. It will be a long one. We take a vacation every year with our friends that live in Idaho. This year we decided to go up their way. We all wanted to go up to Yellow stone. So I decided to find a marathon in Utah that I could do. The trip ended up being about a week and a half. We were able to visit a lot of old friends and enjoy the beautiful mountains of Utah.
This was our first stop! We were on our way to Vegas and needed a break so this is what we did. Looked silly:)




On our way to Idaho, we decided to break up the trip. Our first stop was in Las Vegas. We stayed in Circus Circus and played at the fun dome all night. It was a blast! We really had a great time!

While we were in Provo we stopped by BYU and reminisced:)) The funny thing is that the whole time that we both were in school at BYU we never owned one piece of clothing that said BYU on it so this trip we got everyone a shirt :)


This was one of Scottys class rooms that he used to take Asher to when ash was a baby. Scotty used to sit in the chair that Asher is in and Asher used to sit where Scotty is sitting:)))


We stopped in Provo so I could run the Utah Valley Marathon. We stayed in a hotel and I guess this is the only pic we have for that whole time. I did great in the marathon. I did a 3:19!!

After the marathon we stayed at our friends house, the Sainsburys:)). We slept there and then the next day made a mad dash up to Idaho:))


Scotty left his IPad on top of our car and drove off :( It was such a sad moment. Luckily we went to the Apple store and they just gave him another one:))) The only other thing that happened on the trip was that we woke up one day and had a flat tire on the car. It was easily fixed.

We drove all the way up to Idaho to play with our friends the Turviles:)) We love them. So, after we played at their house we drove to a great cabin to sleep. We spent part of a day at Mesa Falls, then in Yellow Stone National Park. We also ate at Big Juds. And no, none of us at the whole hamburger:)) We had a great time!











































We went to this cool cabin up in the mountains just outside of Yellowstone National Park. The cabin was HUGE! It doesn't look huge from this pic but let me just tell you that it was :) We had a great time sleeping there and exploring in the forests around.

After Idaho we drove to my parents house in Kaysville and stayed there for two days. While we were there we took the train into down town Salt Lake City and played. We went to the Gateway mall, then to Temple Square and visited the tabernacle, then we had lunch and played at the mall again. We really had a blast. We were so tired when we road the train back to my parents house!!




























After we visited with my parents, Scotty and I decided to go to the Bountiful Temple, where it all began!! We were sealed there 9 years prior!! Now look what we've made!

As we drove home, we stopped at a gas station just outside of Los Vegas. Graham decided that he had to go to the bathroom. As we walked into the station, Graham leaned over and pushed that big red button just next to the front door. Yup, he did. That big red button was the emergency shut off button. So, the entire gas station shut down. No gas could pump and highway patrol cars came and everything. Needless to say, we had to have a "don't push red buttons" lesson. LOL
