Yes people I am 30 and it feels weird. Today is my B-day.
Here's to being 30. . . . all the wonders of being 30 are. . .
1-my health insurance went up $230 per month (yea, I found new insurance)
2-being alive and healthy (considering I had meningitis and fell 30 feet off of a sky lift)
3-I read a study that proved that when we hit 30 our brain starts shrinking. Cool ha
4-Being tired alllllll the time (oh wait I have 2 crazy kids that's why)
5-wrinkles yup i have them
6-does that mean i have to start dressing like an adult? I want to be a teeny bop for the rest of my life.
So I guess being 30 doesn't mean much these days. I mean look at Angelina Jolie (or however you spell her name) she is 32.
If you haven't left me your blog address please read the next post and leave me your address.
Peace out

Could you please help me?
So I thought I'd be cool and change my blog template and I kind of pressed delete to all my side bar stuff so I lost all my links to my family and friends that I had. So if you don't see your name on my "Others I love" list, could you please leave me a comment with your blog address and I will make a new list. Thanks

Here are my crazy boys. Scotty looks drunk! You can't tell, but they are on a skate board.
HOUSE UPDATE: The Smoky House was the house I blogged about last. We put an offer in and they actually didn't accept any offers on the house because the offers were too low. So we found another house that I call the blue house (due to the blue wall paint) and it has the same floor plan so I was happy about that and it requires less work. So we put an offer in on this one too. We are working with the bank on these so you never know what will happen.
PURSE STOLEN UPDATE: So we haven't seen any other charges go through lately. I really hope it is over. I just still need to buy a new phone. I had to get a new license and it cost me $22. What a joke. Anyways, we are good. Well, my boys are super sick but besides that we are good :)
For any of you in Utah that see this, I am planning a trip to Utah to see my parents around the 9th of Feb. If anyone wants to play let me know.

40.12
So who ever stole my purse used my debit care in the hour they had before I canceled it and bought gas for $40.12. So in total I figure I am out $210.00 now. If that is it I will consider myself lucky. But the detective over my case told me that people take your checks and ID and open a different account with your name and still checks from other people and deposit them in the account with my name. I have notified all the credit bureaus and all that stuff so hopefully I am safe. We will see. I got my new license today. That was happy. Now I just need to buy a new phone. Just do me a favor and pray with me that they don't use my info and destroy my everything :) k-bye

OH CRAP
So the other night Scotty and I decided to be good LDS people and go to the temple. It is harder to go now with the kids because we have to plan about 5 to 6 hours of us being gone to go. So after a lot of planning and the wonderful help from Nana Nene and Aunt Grace, we picked Tuesday night to go. After the session we were hungry. For Christmas we got a bunch of gift certificates to eat. One was to Baja Fresh. Scotty remembered that there was a Baja in Beverly Hills 90210 (oh yea) and it was just down the street. So we went. We got there about 5 minutes before they closed so no customers were there. We ate fast and left about 10 after 9 in the p.m. We got home around 10:30 and I was looking for my phone to set my alarm to go running in the morning. Well, I couldn't find my phone. Then it hit me. . . . It was in my purse. . . . and my purse. . . was at BAJA FRESH. Oh CRAP! Yes people I left my stupid purse on the chair in Baja Fresh. But the good thing , I thought, was that we were the only customers there. So in the morning I called the place BEFORE they opened mind you and I spoke with the district manager. Well guess what? He didn't see anything. So I described it to him and he said he would talk to all the people who worked last night. To make a long day short, because it was a very long day, not a soul said they saw my purse. Yeah right. Not even the girl that was working that was short with dark hair who could pass as me. . . oh did I mention that she was the one who cleaned the dinning room that night. So after 24 hours of no purse, we finally called the police to file a police report. Don't worry, when I noticed that my purse was missing I cancelled EVERYTHING. . . . So if you have tried to call me and my phone doesn't work, well. . . . who ever has it is going to burn. . I feel better now. So after contacting everyone and their dog to put flags on my drivers license ect. and closing all accounts. . I am just . . . well, I know I shouldn't swear so I will say pissed. And on top of it all, the last house we put a bid on was denied. No, Sarah is not happy. So if you will excuse me I am going to drowned myself in chocolate and I'm not coming out until it's a happy day.

So if any of you have been wondering how our house hunt is going I am here to say that I am about done with this game. Yes that is a dead black widow in the pic above. It was in the last house we looked at. Scotty couldn't go with me to look at the house and wanted me to take pics of the house to show him. Well, I didn't like the house at all so this is what he got. :) We have put 3 offers in on three houses. The first two we were beat by investors. And this last one, we call the smoky house, the whole thing is pending. The house is so smoky and gross that the cabinets are corroding and the whole house needs to be gutted and re-done to be livable. The great thing about that is I will basically get a new house for me with my own style. Talking about style I have been doing my homework on how I want to decorate my next house. Yes I have been watching HGTV and checking out IKEA and looking at every home magazine I can get my hands on. It is so fun. This is my new hobby. I love finding something that I want and then finding it cheaper. Ohhhhh the joy.

Tender Mercys
So having kids can be very trying. Especially if you have two kids and they are both VERY active and CRAZY. I don't pretend to be the best mom. I do a lot of reading and "mommy watching" to see what other people do. Well, I happen to love the "Parenting with Love and Logic" stuff. So today I took Asher and Graham to the mall to play in their play place and Asher was very good until it was time to go. I even gave him his choices to leave, " Do you want to go now or in 5 minutes?" He said 5 minutes. So when the 5 minutes were up I told him it was time to go and he wouldn't have it. Well to fast forward we got home and he earned himself a little "quiet time". I was a bit frustrated with him. So after a while I went in to talk to him and I was ready to have him to his extra chores and everything, then I saw him. He was sitting in his quiet chair, snuggled up in the corner asleep with the most angelic face. Now really, who could get mad now? This is what I call a tender mercy.
